However that's not always true, especially as times change, but men have trouble letting go of that, and when they have trouble during a recession they can take it very hard. Those who write and edit generally still have plenty of work, and any woman with a unique business can succeed because these things are wanted. They aren't easily replaceable, and that keeps them popular. The women who have these businesses are capable of keeping people interested, and that helps them avoid the pitfalls of recession.
