Depending Upon Sunlight Received
Full Sun Perennials – this type of flowers will bloom well in the place where there is a good amount of sunlight. They would even require having a direct sunlight for six to eight hours on a daily basis.

Dry Soil Perennials – this type of perennial grows in a quite dry land. They don’t have to be watered always because they can survive in a drier climate, but it doesn’t mean that they should not be watered. They still need water but not as always.
Perennials for Average Soil – if you have been blessed to have an average soil like an equal percentage of sand, silt and clay, a perennial plant for an average soil will be handy for you.
Perennials for Moist Soil – if you have a moist soil in your garden always make sure to choose a perennial plant that are capable to grow in this kind of soil. They are the type of plant that still bloom flowers even after taking plenty rain.
